- BW Snatch
- Compete in a VIRUS Weightlifting Series meetMost Memorable Athletic Achievement: My first time going 6/6 at a local weightlifting meet with a PR total.
Most Memorable Lifetime Achievement: Going back to school to earn another degree while working full time. It was also during this time where I found the courage to step foot in a CrossFit gym in a new city as a way to socialize, making my way back to the barbell after several years off.

Favorite Lift: Clean and Jerk
Weightlifting Goals: To move fluidly and refine all the lifts. PRs are an added bonus, but they will come with time if I can perfect the movements.
Most Memorable Athletic Achievement: When I hit 125 lbs for my clean and jerk. I was stuck at 115 lbs for so long. As in years!
Most Memorable Lifetime Achievement: Cheesy, but my son! He is my world and I love watching him grow and find his own passions.
Christel is also the author of “Lemon and Cedar.” A children’s book about a friendship, adventure, and the endangered red wolves.

Weightlifting Goals: My goal is to be consistently stronger than yesterday!
Most Memorable Athletic Accomplishment: When I hit a 165lb Power Clean at a CrossFit Competition!
Most Memorable Lifetime Achievement: After being diagnosed with Transverse Myelitis, I lost all movement in my legs and lost control of my nervous system…it was scary….my greatest achievement, fighting my way through it everyday to remain the athlete I was, and maybe an even better version of me!

Favorite Lift: Thruster. I like all the lifts, but if I had to do only one barbell movement I would choose a heavy thruster.
Weightlifting Goals: Maintaining full range of motion and mobility while continuing to work on relative and absolute strength.
Most Memorable Athletic Achievement: All the awards I won playing competitive soccer.
Most Memorable Lifetime Achievement: Becoming a father.

Favorite Lift: Strict press
Weightlifting Goals: To improve my weightlifting technique, get stronger, and put on muscle.
Most Memorable Athletic Achievement: Completing an Ultramarathon (50k) in 7 hrs 22 minutes
Most Memorable Lifetime Achievement: Raising 5 kind, caring and outstanding kids. (Current ages 15-33).

Favorite Lift: Clean & Jerk
Weightlifting Goals: To get stronger in all my lifts
Most Memorable Athletic Achievement: Competing in the Open Division at Wodapalooza for the first time in January 2024 and achieving my goals for the CrossFit Open 2025.
Most Memorable Lifetime Achievement: Serving in the military, which taught me discipline and resilience, and using that foundation to build a lifestyle focused on nutrition, health, and fitness.
Anything else you want to share? I am passionate about staying healthy and challenging myself physically and mentally. I also love spending time with my Doberman, Zeus, who keeps me active and motivated.
